It was mentioned above they could come back occasionally. So I thought it could be practically to keep the app_info.xml.

However, I deleted the file and it works.

Yep.

Is there something in the works to replace it?

From the first post in this thread:

Quote:

1) The FGRP1BG (G for GPU) search will wind down (for now, see below) and will run out of new work in approximately 2 to 3 weeks from now.

2) The FGRP1BG search might be restarted later, but even then it will likely be on-and-off depending on the availability of interesting pulsar candidate data to feed to E@H. So beginning 2 weeks from now, you should no longer rely on a steady stream of work for FGRP1BG!

3) The BRP7 search will move up in our scientific priority as far as electromagnetic astronomy is concerned

4) Of course, the Gravitational Wave search (currently O3 All Sky search) will continue and is not affected by the change. Please continue support for this search!!

nothing really "replacing" it. but BRP7 would be the most similar thing to move to.

Thankyou, it's not good news though with some people have THOUSANDS of tasks, fewer apps puts more pressure on the remaining apps

Unfortunately, this information is not so nice. Is an application for Intel graphics planned or even planned for “Binary Radio Pulsar Search (MeerKAT) (BRP7)”? At the moment there are only apps for ATI and NVidia. Unfortunately, I currently only have computers with Windows 11 and Intel graphics chips. I've been here for some time and would like to stay there.

For sure. But BRP4 (Arecibo)

For sure. But BRP4 (Arecibo) is not BRP7 (MeerKAT), which is what I asked for... ;-)

Nice!! Thanks!!! My notebook Igpu is also idling Host 12944392 Would be great to have a new app for it, or even an improved version of BRP4, I tried running BRP4 and started to get invalid tasks, so I decided to go for CPU tasks.
