Very much so. Your P900 knocks spots off my P500 for close ups, Mine just doesn't have the focal length for close ups like that.

I'll be out today with the camera, now all the torrential rain has moved through.  Off to have a stroll round a local nature reserve. Came across it a few weeks ago when walking. It's suprising what you find on your doorstep, gone past it many a time and never knew it existed.

Speaking of rain, we have certainly had our share in Florida.  Yesterday was a wash out!  Had a tropical depression move through and there is more rain on the horizon.  On a side note the tadpoles in my pond have gobbled up several of the water lily pads.
