I'm a little bit irritated about the direction the thread is going to. I'm SURE that there is a way to anonymize the informations 'jygfjghkjhgkh' has contributed to the project. And i'm sure Bernd will do that.
1. It might be a design flaw that actually deleting an account isn't possible (yet), but this then is a flaw of the BOINC software we're using, and thus applies to all the BOINC projects.
2. The information bound to the account is minimal (email address) and need not be valid beyond a certain point. You can set up an account with an address that is only valid for one single email, and no need to include your true name anywhere.
3. The information stored about the computers is only used for the purpose of distributing the workunits, and maybe the OS information used for error tracking. The name and IP address of your machines is only visible to you, and if you choose in the profile to hide your computers, no one else will be able to connect the computer id with your account.
4. No user information beyond what you decide to show to the public e.g. in the forums will leave our labs, not for money and not for anything else.
Again, I'll see what I can do, but I won't risk to break the whole database for that.
it is not like the MOST IMPORTANT THING in my life or anything, i would just prefer not to be on the database any more for reasons which i don't have to tell you

there is a law in the UK that states my records have to be deleted on request, but i am not suggesting that law applies here, just demonstrating that i am not asking for something totally out of the ordinary.
