IF you choose GpuGrid keep the cache very low as they do give bonus credits if you return the units within a pretty short deadline, it's explained on the website, and they ONLY accept higher end gpu's.
GPU grid's WU distribution infrastructure seems to do that fairly well on its own. The host I currently have running it never seems to get more than the 2 long tasks it has running at any time.

My Nvidia 1070 wasn't used. I found why in my linux18.04 LTS distro.
By default, the In 18.04 you need to manually install the
ocl-icd-libopencl1
package. So a quicksudo apt install ocl-icd-libopencl1
fixed it.I loaded it ( I used synaptic ) rebooted, and now I am my Nvidia 1070 crunsh GPU specific files !
That simple solution took me hours to find this simple solution.
I hope I can spare that time to many users.
