Have you tried aborting the transfer in the transfers tab? The option may not show up unless you highlight the transfer first.

It should eventually give up on its own, it may take weeks for this to happen though.

I just click on abort and it isn't in the Boinc Transfer tab anymore. But it is still in client_state.xml. Maybe it will try to upload again when I restart machine (it doesn't work 24/7)?

However, here is all there is in client_state.xml about r1_0256.5__3060_S4R2a_2_0

OK, it seems that there is no

OK, it seems that there is no more references to r1_0256.5__3060_S4R2a_2_0 WU anywhere in my Boinc related files. Seems that aborting the transfer has done its job well.
