Reloaded. Refueled. Ready for takeoff.

Ahhhh! Do you hire out? Like err ... for special jobs, at a fee .... you know? I've got some targets of opportunity for you.... :-)

There's always that possibility. Would it be a precise surgical strike on a single target or massive carpet bombing? There's an extra fee if you want it to look like the targets started it.

Sure looks like you picked the right avatar; best one yet, Misfit.

(Happy belated B-day wishes, Dan, and a toast to many more)

Thank you very much Chipper...I am stuffed with day after birthday, Birthday/Mother's day dinner...I think i'm gonna pop.

I used to be pretty good with an F-105 Thud. I've got 30,000 lbs of Nape loaded and I'm getting ready to fly a sortie against the SETI Cafe. That place could use a little "urban renewal"! I'll come in low & fast, treetop level, and they'll never see me coming!

Yes, that's the shot right there! A town planning approach, like the Great Fire of London .... start over again to get it done right & proper, new broom sweeps all ..... that type of stuff :-)
Cheers ,Mike.

I have made this letter longer than usual because I lack the time to make it shorter ...

Be careful of thermal inversion on the approach.

Actually way back in the past they did...It was Ray Steven's country version of "Misty"...But the calls were pretty benign...Never led me to any psycho listeners.

That's my favourite, the hoe-down banjo/steel-guitar version... :-)
Cheers, Mike

I was 14 years old when i was playing Ray Steven's version of "Misty" on our local radio station...Any sultry seductress that would have tried to get me then would have been in trouble from the word go.

Dan, the reference to "Misty"

Dan, the reference to "Misty" and "Never led me to any psycho listeners" makes me think of "Play Misty for me" (I believe the name is) with Clint Eastwood. lol

That's what Mike Hewson was referring to in his earlier post asking me if anyone had asked me to "play misty for me"...I've seen that movie once myself...Kinda creepy...But then i've met some pretty strange and potentially dangerous listeners myself.

I thought perhaps he was but I didn't know if it was that or directed towards the Ray Stevens song. I don't think I've heard that one, the only one I remember really is something like "Mississippi Squirrel Revival". Pretty funny lyrics on that one. Or perhaps it was a different Ray Stevens...

I've got bigger problems than that, now. The crew chief just told me that we don't have enough credit cards to pay for the go juice and the A/C is acting up! Probably have to scrub until tomorrow, I'm also having a little trouble suiting up. It must have shrunk!
