I think a lot of people are watching the shuttle launch. It's live on NASA TV now. There are launch parties in the SETI cafe and on QMC.

Hmmm, 4th of July you say.....personally, I wouldn't want to be sitting on top of a few megatons of lighter fluid on that particular day in the USA...

No sorry, I was actually cycling to Putney to sit by the river and have a pint if shandy with my dad. It was a beautiful day for a cycle, but I couldn't go too fast because of the heat so it took me nearly an hour to get there.

Physics is for gurls!

OH, you sleep at the Rosetta Cafe adding words in your sleep. Or was that your evel twin brother?

I only added the question because when my wife and I were going out I had her convinced that I had a twin brother Tom who was always getting into trouble for some things she heard about me. Was my dad ever mad at me when he met her and she asked it Tom was going to be there that evening. How could you do that to such a nice young women. But who did I learn things like that from?

I is always safer to wait for good weather and not have problems with it.
It is really time to replace the ageing shuttles, if they were cars they would qualify for antique plates. Maby they can get Bert Rutan to help design a replacement for them.
