That's a server that we can't connect to.
Now, one thing I noticed:
04/07/2012 23:46:15 | Einstein@Home | [http] [ID#106] Info: Connected to (nil) (130.75.116.210) port 80 (#3)

a) Connected to (nil)?
-- But then this might be something 'normal' as I see the Google.com connect also happen to (nil) on address 173.194.65.105
b) When trying to reach 130.75.116.210, which is einstein-abp1.aei.uni-hannover.de, all contact is lost.
c) tracert 130.75.116.210 works though.
d) I tried setting HTTP 1.0, but that also doesn't help.

RE: The BRP download server

Quote:

The BRP download server is up & running well, it might be a problem with the network, although I have no other indication for this yet.

I'll have another look after some sleep.

It always looks better in the morning after some coffee...

As far as I could determine

As far as I could determine the problem was caused by the pre-processing starting back up after the short outage. The writing to the disks seems to have saturated the disk I/O on the download server, leaving less for the actual downloads.

If this is true, the problem should be gone now.

Problems are solved indeed

Problems are solved indeed (for me) and Einstein@home is working like a speed train as ever.
I wish every project has such a dedicated team!
Einstein himself would be very proud.
