About something brought up here http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/forum_thread.php?id=32101#348677

Basicly the seti app draws the graphics even when the graphics window isn't open and this is a waste slowing the crunching. Even tested it myeslf and saw ~5% increase when disabled.
Was wondering if its the same, maybe, here? Does it also render regardless? Does it have any performance affect? And finally if any the above true would it be OK to disable them???
Maybe theres a command, i don't know, but if the graphics where removed would it cause any probs with the science?
