I have my machine generally set up so that I install programs on C: (which is backed up regularly) and keep large transient data files on D: (which isn't backed up and is much larger in size).
Obviously, I want to have BOINC store its data on D: rather than in its program directory, but can't find the config option for this kind of stuff...
How do I do this?

Hi, just found this from another thread. Are you using Windows with an NTFS file system? If so try junction link magic. It creates the equivalent of Unix symbolic links on Windows NTFS file systems (but not the NTFS on NT4).
