    I installed catalyst 15.7.1 - the gpu core clock and memory speed controls seem to have ZERO Effect when trying to adjust (downclocking) for running Einstein.
    You can see in the pic - I set it for 940mhz (re-booted the computer) and, as soon as I fire up Einstein - It starts running at 1150mhz.
    Also tried MSI Afterburner to no avail.

    Anyone else notice this ? I might have to try reverting to an older driver.

      I had the same sort of problem with my R290 card, trying to under clock.
      I think I had to go all the way back to CCC 13.4. Not that it made any difference in solving that card problem (wont run more than one task without invalids).
      I don't know if its a general thing with the later CCC, over clocking works fines (keeps the setting) without any problems.
