I hope you´ll have an nice christmas. ;)
thx mikey. ;)
I am happy that this year is ending soon...:| This year was just waste...grr.
TL, only for Windows Computers? Ops...(I prefer Linux for data analysing and "Windoof" for games and an little bit for computing.)
Windows is what I absolutely know how to service. I will service Mac as well; but, am NOT familiar enough with Linux to offer my services as a Tech for it.
My rates are reasonable. ($50 an hour.) I also have a contract with a mid sized chain for services like laptops that need to be dismantled for diagnosis/repair.

Desktops I will always service myself.
Can you run up here to Minnesota ?
I'm having trouble with my A:\ Drive not working.

You still have a floppy drive???? Aren't those extinct??? My old 486 that I have in storage has two of them; I think they still work. (They worked as I put the computer into storage, anyway.)

Minnesota is a little far for me to travel...
I too have a drawer full of those old things, 3.5's though, my old 5.25's are LONG gone!! Although I MAY still have one of the dual 3.5 AND 5.25 in one drives laying around someplace.
Very proud of my Tandy 1000. Accompanied with a Radio Shack dot matrix printer complete with greenbar. The sound! The sound! Please, stop the sound. Did not think it could ever get better than that.
My first computer was an Apple IIe. My first PC was an 8088 Clone. My first expensive computer was my 486 DX-4, 100 MHz system; fully loaded, 15" Monitor, Mouse, Keyboard, etc... $5000.00 It had an ATI Graphics Ultra Pro Mach32, a Western Digital 540 MB HD, two Teac Floppy Drives, a Colorado 250 MB Tape Backup, an NEC SCSI 3x CD-ROM Drive, and a MediaVision ProAudio-16 sound card with Trantor SCSI Adaptor, (for the CD-ROM Drive), and a set of speakers.
