Managed to run two BRP6 betas to completion (so far, one validated, one waiting for validating) without an apparent problem. However, came home to find that Task 487939820 had crashed while I was at work, causing Windows to write the following into the Event log:

Faulting application name: einsteinbinary_BRP6_1.50_windows_intelx86__BRP6-Beta-cuda32-nv30, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x54f5e123

It looks like BOINC restarted the task, and after some time, it crashed again.

I acknowledged the two crash prompts from Windows, and another BRP6 task, 487947520, started and very promptly crashed, generating the same Exception Code. I decided that a restart of the computer was in order, and the next BRP6 beta task in line has now been running for almost an hour. It was interesting receive two regular/non-beta BRP5's as soon as the two bad tasks were reported. The server being smart about two failed betas from this machine?

I've been running BRP5 tasks on this machine for a while now with only a very infrequent invalid result. I have seen a "Computation Error" beside a task entry in BOINC before (almost always on WCG), but this is the first time in crunching Einstein on GPU alongside WCG on CPU that I've ever seen Windows bark about a problem with a BOINC task, so I'm new to reporting this type of problem.

I'm tempted to opt out of beta for now, since I'm about to move the GTX 650 SC to another box and replace with it with a just-delivered GTX 960 SSC ACX 2.0+, and add a new sound card (Christmas in March). (Do I want to settle in new hardware while running beta units?)

If you need machine details beyond what you can see from the Einstein site (I've unhidden my computers), if I have posted this in the wrong place, or if I should provide other/further details, please let me know.

Thanks!
