Do I look like an idiot, and I will take it on the CPU?
You can turn off the CPU BRPS work-units in your prefs. However, the CPU is still the only way to do the Gravitational Wave work-units, so I am sure the project would be unhappy if everyone completely stopped doing CPU work.
There should be a remark somewhere that the GPU app produces a lot of errors with the official Nvidia 260.1936 driver. Installing the beta driver 270.18 reduces the quote of errors but this driver has some other problems.

Looks like the linux version is a bit faster:
Win32: Runtime: 5430s (Average of 50 WU's)
Lin32: Runtime: 4702s (Average of 10 WU's)
Measured on a dualboot E7200, 8800GTS 512; it's about 15% faster.

True, that's because the CPU-part is slightly faster on Linux than on Windows.

Hi,
I just reactivated my 9800GT. This meager card crunches a BRP WU in just ~5000s. This is awesome compared to ~100000s on my AMD 9350e!
Keep up the good work. (Looking foreward to the new NVIDIA driver w/o bug.)
