I just updated to the current version 0.5.6 via auto-update and notice the version number in the application banner did not change. Also it appears the "attach" to project function is no longer working.

Has anybody else seen this with the newer version?

Yes, apparently only the ./boinc boinc.exe was updated to 0.5.6 this time
so,
I have to update by hand on all my clients , cause the "update" or "copy"
destroys debugging functionality of boinc by renaming symsrv.yes dbghelp.dll etc.

btw: Does someone has used "credits correction" on XtremLab ?
*Boincstudio, correct *all* xlab WUs to claim 0.000 credits -:(

Not sure what procedures are used to identify CPU, it's instruction and cache sizes: L2 should be non zero...well, 4096 Ko. Perhaps add SSE4 if it is not problem.

The Socks proxy functionalty of boinc is not working with BoincStudio !

If u use BoincStudio "settings" to set the socks5 proxy.

It assumes that is a http proxy and writes wrong settings on client_stat.xml

However, if after u use boincstudio "setings",

u use BoincView 1.2.5 to "set" the socks5 proxy,
then the socks5 proxy works OK ! , (until u use BoincStudio "setings" again
eg: to change this host cpu limit =:!!!

I whish a "Fix" for this socks problem
