    It still shouldn't have this behaviour, but I'll ask around and see if anyone knows what could be causing it.

      That's done it! BOINC now stops calculating for only 1 minute instead of 1 hour after completing a WU.

      Actually, if you look at % complete, it should not be going up as you are not hitting a checkpoint after one minute. To do this, you also have to leave the results in memory.

      There is a known issue where a CPU is left idle for an hour. I believe that it has been fixed in the test code (4.42).
