I've just updated the Einstein@Home scheduler to incorporate this fix. Users with a 4.19 BOINC client: please report if the problem is now fixed. (PS: you might want to consider updating. More recent BOINC clients work better and have a lot of nice features.)
I will report on Monday as the affected computers are at work. There is a Squid/AUTH issue that made me use 4.19 there and after they introduced the MS installer I could not try later versions anymore that might have this issue fixed.
Well, it is posible to extract the stuff from the MSI file and install manually but there was no reason so far, set&forget, 4.19 worked fine - unattended, so no features are needed ;-)
Likewise -- thank you for the quick post identifying the exact problem.

Both Linux and Windows host
)
Both Linux and Windows host with CC4.19 have reported their results and pulled fresh ones.
The error message ("refused, has already been reported") was expected as that does not depend on a sched_reply.
The ghost host entries and ghost WUs will disappear after some time, so everything is fine again :-)

Wonderful! Thanks for confirming that the CC4.19 boxes are working properly again.
