Hello all!! Before I go out and get a loan for the new GTX 580, will it be usable to crunch? Is there an compatibility issue? Oh I will get one reguardless, unless there is a better card?
If and/or when it can crunch,I will post the results and/or report any bugs.
I have an EVGA GTX 580 running Einstein@home currently with driver 262.99. So far the tasks are running okay. I am running at 850/1700 for core and shader frequency. It looks like run time to completion for the task that is running right now is 2.3 hours. This is with a 920 @ 3.9 GHz.
