Geological training from Kingston University, South West London. Joined British Gas in 1978, working for a short while in Richmond, Surrey, and for a long time in Staines, Middlesex, as a software engineer. Left in 1996. Went travelling. Four months into a South American circuit, I met a Danish girl in Santiago, Chilè, travelled with her for a couple of months until it was time for her to fly home. After a couple of weeks on the Galapagos archipelego, and in Costa Rica for a friend visit, I flew back to England. Danish girl visited me, I visited her. Sold my house, moved to Denmark, and married the girl. We live in Espergærde, on the East coast of Sjælland Island, about 40km North of Copenhagen. I worked for a couple of companies software engineering, mostly working in transport and shipping applications. Retired now.
