Background
60+ year old guy from Southampton in the UK.
20+yrs in the construction industry. BSc(Hons) degree in Construction as a mature student then Open University courses in sustainable technology, environmental science, cosmology and particle physics. Also spent over a decade working in a library. Avid reader. I have a lot of interests.
Can't go a day without a good BOINC.

Opinion
I love any project that attempts to answer some of the fundamental questions about the properties of the world and universe in which we live.
Took a course in cosmology that included some background on how exactly laser interferometers attemp to detect gravity waves. With a better understanding of the project, I'm even more excited about helping to achieve its goals.
