I am currently working as a Research Scientist at Bose Institute, Kolkata, India. I am part of a research group which is searching for rare events (e.g. Strangelets) in Cosmic rays using Nuclear Track detectors.
As a student of Physics I am always eager to help the Physics community in anyway possible. Scientists working on the LIGO project are trying to detect gravitational waves whereby they will open up a whole new window to the universe. I will be extremely happy if I can make even a small contribution to their efforts. It is also my tribute to the great man himself.
