Also, in the Boinc folder, go to Slot 0 folder and open the STDerr and see if you're getting a "no heartbeat" message.

Also, are you getting the "no finished file" and "exited with zero result" messages? use explorer go to C\window\program...

After restart, the B shows up on the task bar, then when you move the cursor over it, it disappears? I have seen this...

Hmmm. can you describe what you see when you reboot? Do you get any error messages? Do you see the "B" in the task bar...
