Background
I'm an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at California State University Fullerton. My primary research area is gravitational-wave detection. My group is involved with the LIGO Scientific Collaboration's searches for gravitational-wave bursts with LIGO, Virgo and GEO600 and on improving the detectors.
Opinion
While I'm not using them, my computers are helping to discover neutron stars. That's pretty cool.
