Hello,
I have a Jetson Nano running Ubuntu 18 and it seems that Einstein2home is recognizing the GPU, which is great.
However, it seems there's no compatible application ?

there are no nvidia

there are no nvidia applications for the arm platform from the project. that's the problem. all the nvidia applications here are only for the x86 platform.
there ARE unofficial (Anonymous Platform) applications for CUDA/ARM on BRP4. Hopefully Keith will pop in here and provide where to get it and how to run it.

I just saw your post and Ian's reply. I sent you a PM with the steps and download link necessary to get the app and get it running on your Nano.
These are my two Jetson SoC hosts running it for comparison purposes.

Happy to have another Jetson Nano running and adding to the project.

Did anybody have any success on Nvidia Shield tablet/Nvidia Shield TV? It has Tegra K1 GPU and might work the same way.
Seems it might be reflashed to Ubuntu.
Don't know anything about
)
Don't know anything about that hardware. The Nano's and later SoC's have Tegra X series cores based on each Nvidia generation. Maxwell >> Pascal >> Turing >> Ampere
How many cores does a Tegra K1 have and is the architecture of the cores similar to the X series?
Googling tells me the Shield has 256 Kepler cores but only 3GB of system memory. Number of cores is actually 2X over the Nano but of an earlier generation. The lesser memory might be a hindrance.
Looks like you can install a ported version of L4T onto the Shield. Info is on the XDA Developers forum.
Fairly involved and lots of posts of no success. Still wonder how much memory you would have left after the installation for BOINC and the application would have to work with.
Thank you for your help

Thank you for your help getting it up and running !

I think he's confusing an X for a K.
the nvidia shield has a Tegra X1 w/256-core GPU.

Yes my mistake. It has NVIDIA® Tegra® X1+ processor with a 256-core NVIDIA GPU and 2 GB RAM.
Jetson TX1 and Jetson TX2 are working fine on BRP4G tasks so I'm considering a Nvidia Shield TV as a next step.
I see two options:
1. BRP4 application that is using cuda on android. It is possible but a bit hard to achieve.
2. Flash Nvidia linux for TX1 on Nvidia Shield and use already working BRP4 application for Nvidia TX1.
That is not what I

That is not what I researched. There is a Shield Tablet powered by K1.
