But Chrome has gotten to be a real stickler for not allowing cross-site manipulation like your internally hosted image linked to from einstein.org. Won't allow it now. Much older versions would have had no issues.
Yeah the image thing is a real issue these days. I assume having such a feature in a browser is to save downloads for the dial up 56K users ?
Anyway I'm not out of the woods with the Nvidia drivers it seems, some more WUs in ( compute ) error after a few seconds like so ( my emphasis ) :

Yes, both Chrome and Firefox default to only allowing https connections. They both also restrict 3rd party links or popups or cookies.
Mike, I think you are in a Catch-22 situation. You can't revert to the 470 series driver as they won't recognize the new 12GB 3060 card which has a PCIE Device ID of #2571.
At least I don't think so. The ID it shows as
GA106 [RTX A2000 12GB]
But I can't select that version of card from the Nvidia driver list. It keeps coming up with 510 or 515 series drivers as compatible.
I think that card needs the 510 series at minimum.
But give the old 470.129 series drivers a shot anyway.

Yeah, I now remember this issue I have seen before. The problem is that my domain mikehewson.id.au uses a certificate ( granted by the hosting company iinet ) that is not trusted, and hence I can't supply content under https.

there is no "new" 12GB version of the 3060. it was always 12GB from launch. there is no other version.
the 3080 is the one that got the newer 12GB version after the initial 10GB version.
