Oddly I'm using this second machine here from work (it's new from 6 months ago and has a good i7 but otherwise mediocre as other stuff goes):
ID: 5447580

Cross-project stats:
BOINCstats.com Free-DC KS11WSWORKPC 924.28 10,311 7.0.25 GenuineIntel
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40GHz [Family 6 Model 42 Stepping 7]
(8 processors) CAL AMD Radeon HD 6x00 series (Turks) (1024MB) driver: 1.4.1353 Microsoft Windows 7
Professional x64 Edition, Service Pack 1, (06.01.7601.00) 19 Jun 2012

Even though my home gaming machine plays games ways better (better graphics card, gaming processor, etc.) just because of the multi-threading thing, where the i7 thinks 2 processors are 8, makes it 30% faster at completing Einstein@Home tasks.
So go figure the the non-gaming machine is still pretty good but if you're buying a machine strictly (or at least partially) for Einstein get an i7 I guess??
