Under the new website how do you select a users profile to like for User of the Day?
Thank you,

The procedure is basically

The procedure is basically the same as with standard BOINC. It's a random user that has never been UOTD. If there is no such user the UOTD is selected randomly from the pool of active users. Active means you need to have a certain minimum RAC.
So then the I Like the

So then the I Like the Profile has no barring or has no real use anymore?

I don't think we have this feature anymore with the Drupal site. And even with the old site it was mainly used to identify problematic (offending) profiles.
That is to bad as from what I
)
You left only the Bad Report User and have no good, sad that you no longer allow the good.
This is why I stopped watching the News on TV and so on we seem to only see and want bad news.
That is to bad as from what I have learned over the years is that is how you voted for a UOD
From other Sites:
This is still working on other BOINC Project Websites. http://www.uotd.org/

I don't know of a project

I don't know of a project that actually used the profile "likes" to select the UotD. It may have been planned to provide such a feature but it was never implemented into BOINC.
Then why do all other BOINC
)
Then why do all other BOINC Projects have this on each user that has a profile?
ChristianB I am not finding any other BOINC Project where you have a Profile so that I can select yours.
You must have a Profile to Complete this Vote.

Because it is part of the BOINC code. What it does is increase a counter in the profile table. But this counter is not used to select the User of the Day. The User of the Day is selected by random from all users that have a profile and a profile picture and were not previously selected User of the Day. If all users (with profile and picture) have been UotD then the one that has been UotD a long time ago will be UotD again or the new UotD is selected by random from those "old" UotD's (depending on code version used at the project). Additionally every project has the ability to override this selection process and use this "like" counter but I'm not aware of a project that does that.
OK you are then saying that
)
OK you are then saying that this is all a lie then, that is this below is a lie
Or at least someone else would have posted as well.
Thank you for your time.
It is sad though that Einstein@Home Project is no longer supporting User of the Day.
