Can't find a PPL in bios. Maybe a ver2 only or maybe I need to update my Bios?

Will try "Power". Performance doesn't appear to increase the average top MHz at all.

I have ver P2.60 which apparently is the current version for this MB.
Yes, the memory is now running at 2666, it may have been at 2400 previously.

It is in your BIOS. If not on the cpu page then in the AMD CBS menus
PPL = Package Power Limit
Should match the cTDP setting
My server BIO doesn't have any AMD CBS menus. I looked. Honest.
And it started locking up/unresponsive to keyboard. I have reverted to the baseline settings. I will try the higher cTDP with the Determinism on AUTO tomorrow.
Need to confirm its not locking up because of the CPU upgrade.

I would think it should have it. My EPYCD8 BIOS is 2.42 and has the same AGESA level as your EPYCD8-2T with BIOS 2.60
In the same manual as my board. Not unless we picked up the AMD CBS and PBS menus with our beta driver that restored the fan control.
I don't remember if the standard 2.40 BIOS had those menus or not now.
What is your cooling solution

What is your cooling solution for the cpu??

it's in the 2.40 BIOS and for sure it's in his BIOS too.
Tom, it's on the same page as the cTDP setting. literally the same menu.
the setting that says “Package Power Limit”.

Thanks Ian, I was pretty positive it was in the original 2.40 BIOS.
