Einstein@Home Discovers Three New Radio Pulsars!

Einstein@Home has discovered three new radio pulsars in data from the Parkes Multi Beam Pulsar Survey (PMPS). Congratulations to the Einstein@Home volunteers whose computers discovered these systems with the highest significance!

Discovered systems are usual double pulsars, or it have rare features?

The first two of the pulsars are isolated and appear to be undistinguished. The third of the pulsars, J1840-0644, spins at 28 Hz and appears to have a binary companion. However it is not a "double pulsar" since the pulsar's companion is not itself a pulsar.

It is great that we are constantly moving towards to completion of full pulsars catalog. And each year we do this faster then ever before.
BTW, where can we read about the estimation of the highest possible number of pulsars in our galaxy?

Quick question:
Do the "graphics" of E@H get updated with the new pulsars found? If so, would it be possible to have a different colour for the new pulsars discovered by Einstein volunteers? I just think that would look really cool.
