We are now testing the new 'coincidence' routine. This has reduced the run time of the coincidence step in the worst-case tests from about six hours to four minutes, and memory use by a significant factor. If all goes well, new applications should be available this week. We are also now testing a modified scheduler that (1) provides better feedback messages to hosts that are not getting work because they lack disk space, and (2) deletes data files from hosts when they run short of disk space.

Thanks in part to user feedback and detective work by Bernd Machenschalk and others we have located and are now fixing a significant bug in our search code. The search code works in three stages. The first two stages search instrument data from two different periods of time. The third stage searches for consistency (coincidence) in the output from these two time periods. The bug is in this final third stage.
