I would like to suggest

I would like to suggest adding 'Askimet' spam check service which filters spambots comments. Also, applying Google live captcha makes it even more secure.
If you need help with this please send me a private message.

Sounds fair and most probably useful.
BTW, how to know if one is considered as a "spam" or as a "contributor" to E(a)H ?

Hello.
I'm not sure this is the best thread to post my question. Sorry if it's not.

I observed that, in the last month, the tasks from E@H became longer to achieve. End of January, they where measured in hours and now they need days of calculations.
Does it come from my computer (which is the same, with the same CPU and GPU's) or does it come from the tasks themselves ?

Cheers and thanks

You're right, not the best place to post, your question doesn't have anything to do with profiles and the policy concerning them.
You should have open a new thread in "Problems and bugs" or "Cruncher's corner".
More people read those sections and you stand a better chance of getting help there.

If the tasks are of the same type then I would look at the temperature of the CPU, especially if it's a laptop. It might be overheating and downclocking to protect itself. Is the fan working right and have you cleaned the ventilation holes?

Thanks Holmis. The current

Thanks Holmis.
The current tasks are gammay-ray pulsar binary search #1 1.00 (3 of them running at present time)
My computer is a laptop, but almost new : 4 monthes old, and the fans seem to work nicely (by ear) and ventilation holes are clean. As my computer is still under constructor warranty, I would not like to open it to clean the fans from inside!
I will, as you suggest, post my question in "problems and bugs".
Thanks again
Cheers

Sean, I see that your profile does not have any text in Interests. When you clicked 'save', did you see a message, in a colored box, saying Your profile must be approved by moderators?

If you did not, then something may have gone wrong and you will need to edit your profile again, adding the text you want. Then one of the mods or admins review your profile.

I did receive the message for mod/admin approval.  I was sad to see the text didn't appear at a later date so I thought that either A. I did something wrong, B. Perhaps got lost in the shuffle, or C. maybe included personal info.  I doubt it was the last one because I only included what was suggested for the boxes.  I will try again later tonight and double check that I get a box for the approval. Thanks for the response.
