How is the current position in the sky determined?

There is that nice orange gun-sight present in the screensaver display. How is its location counted?
We do not know the speed of the waves, we have only got some bare assumptions, so we miss the most important variable. There is no lens either.
Could someone shed some light on this matter, please?

otherwise it becomes impossible to compare light and gravity flows because they would be indicating different points in space time

Seti-Cruncher, if you read carefully you will see that the author of that article draws reader's attentions to the difference between gravity propagation and gravity radiation. The latter (radiation) is what E@H is trying to detect and its speed is c. the former (propagation) is what has the speed >= 2x10^10 c

It would also be prudent to carefully scrutinize writings by the author in question, as (among other things...) he advocates the presence of artificial structures on Mars here and here ... approach with warranted skepticism. ;-)
