Reporting results on a different computer

I attached to Einstein on a public library computer
5 miles away from home. I brought the BOINC folder
home on my USB drive, and copied it onto my own
machine, and it is running fine. When I have finished
the work unit, will I be able to take my BOINC
folder to my local library to report the result and
get new work, or can I only report the result using
the specific computer that downloaded the work unit?

As far as I know, you must download and upload from the same computer. You can crunch on a different computer.

It should work the same way

It should work the same way you did transfer the Tasks to your home computer: copy the whole BOINC directory to the stick, then maybe another time to the library computer, and start the BOINC client in that directory. You will just have to make sure that there isn't another BOINC setup in the directory you are using (e.g. if you copy it over the old installation).

If the stick is large enough, it might be more conveniant to just run the client in the directory on the stick (on both computers). Maybe you have to adjust your disk usage settings (in general preferences) a bit.
