Also dumb question: where should we report new md5 for other project's applications?

Hi Honza,
There is a thread opened on the HFR french forum:
http://forum.hardware.fr/hardwarefr/Setietprojetsdistribues/BoincStudio-alpha-sujet-16399-1.htm

But for english-speaking people it's not very convenient.
Perhaps opening a thread on the Boinc message board could be better...

I found I do not need to move

I found I do not need to move the Boinc installation around. I just need to start the Boinc Manager from C:\\BOINC or C:\\BOINCU. I have configured Boinc Studio for two computers on the same system using the different directories and passwords. Still a kludge but at least I safer than copying and deleting.

ps This does appear to confuse Boinc Studio as both instances appear to be running and anything changed in one instance appears to be changed in the other. On one occasion the backup instance was deleted from Boinc Studio.

Boinc Studio's confusion in

Boinc Studio's confusion in my configuration appears to be the result of both boinc.exe apps running on the same port. If I could get a second instance running on another port (1044?) this might actually work.

I can imagine that there are priorities like getting version 0.5 of BS out etc. but...have you considered synchronizing with latest BOINC core?
Sooner or later it needs to be done...and trux has some troubles with it from time to time.

BS is based on boinc 5.2.13 who is the lastest stable version published.
Hi,
Arnaud posted a link to dev thread...I got quite lost in French but I understood there is a To Do list.
Is synchronizing with latest offical among them?

BoincStudio is based to work

BoincStudio is based to work with the "BoincStudio"core client. You can use another core like the 5.4.9, but you lose all enhanced functionnalities like clainmed credit correction, faking cpu numbers...

@ ThierryH - yes, I know.

@ ThierryH - yes, I know. Perhaps I should reformulate question: is there a plan to make BS core based on UCB 5.4.9 core?
In your previous answer "BS is based on boinc 5.2.13 who is the lastest stable version published." I got impression, that when new official version of core will be published, BS will be synchronized with it.
(I'm not sure how Boinc Account Manager, scheduler for 2+ CPUs etc. works in 5.2.13)

With 24h late (sorry, I wasn't here yesterday), here's version 0.5a
It's only bug fixes, in particular boinc throttling under E@H.

Sorry, I didn't saw this new version. I asked the question to DocMaboul but the goal is to follow official versions...
