Thanks for bringing the filter function to my attention, I had forgotten about it. I wish I'd remembered it before so as to include it in my 'rant' on the Offensive Posts thread. I believe that is probably the best solution. Kudos to you.
It works. You can still see when the filtered user has posted, but you don't get distracted or offended, and in the off chance the user has actually said something nice, if enough other participants rate the post favorably, then the filter allows that post to be seen.
