Web server error 500

I've just joined the project and I'm getting the messages below when I attempt to attach. I appreciate any help. - John

Web server error 500

Your computer is not attached to the project. The 500 error is usually a firewall that is getting in the way.

BOINC needs port 80 allowed on the NET side.

Thanks Pooh for your help. I've already configured the http proxy settings to get through the firewall and in fact it does acknowledge downloading a "Master file" as can be seen in my original post. I'll try it again when I'm outside this firewall. -- John

The proxy uses port 8081 which is what I entered in the port setting for http proxy in boinc mgr. Is there a way to make this to work? Thanks - John.
