Hi, every time I leave my pc einstein seems not to progress. I have proccesed 7 seti WU and still only on the first einstein with them split 40 einstein 60 seti.In fact my first Einstein is only 36 % done and Im 12 days in! Any help would be greatly apritiated or ill miss the report deadline. Thanks milo.

I have a 300 to 100 ratio Einstein/SETI. Maybe you should give more share to Einstein.

Thanks for your reply but I havent taken any new seti work for about 15 hours with only 4 or 5 % difference. I will change the split but I recon this will only help when I also have seti work. Please correct me if Im wrong, Im prety new to this. Thanks again milo.

Well, it all depends on your CPU. I have an old Pentium II at 400 MHz and I complete an Einstein WU in about 35-40 hours of CPU time, while a SETI WU takes about 13 hours with an optimized 4.07 client by Ned Slider. The Einstein client is a standard one. This on SuSE Linux 9.3, But I can meet deadlines OK.

I am using an optimized seti client and I think I presumed that both Seti and Einstein would complete in similar times. Glad to hear it takes you longer aswell. In future I will give more time to Einstein as you previously sugested. Thanks for your help, milo.
