Needed it, too, after the ordeal of chemo. Jeesh! 8 hours on IV tubes, don't know how many bags o' stuff they pumped into me, pre-meds, antibiotics, Benadryl, three (3!) different chemos. I was absolutely exhausted , flopped on the bed when I got home Friday evening and didn't rise until Sunday a.m. Very thankfully, I haven't suffered some of the worse side-effects, nausea, acute sensitivity to cold, acne, etc., though. Forthcoming treatments will be light by comparison, a breeze. :-) Hair will have to go, I'm sure, but what the hey, SUMMER is COMING, and I plan to spend some weekends on my buddy's boat, down the New Jersey shore. I'm his designated Gilligan, and have a standing invitation anytime the family goes down there.
