Yep, it seems that regardless Boinc computing starting point, when it commands to open the constelation it opens the blank screen instead. When you manually commands it to open, it works.
For me this is clearly a bug on the calling between modules (well, as far as I have no idea of how it works... don't take it on the wrong side).
Tested many combinations with "blank screen" checked-unchecked and several timings both for Boinc and Windows screensaver and the most I got is the "loading scrensaver" message which ends on the blank screen.
I did all I could folks. Cannot waist more time on this. I'm going back to my old Matrix 3D screensaver for this machine. I'll come back when new version come out.

Graphics really are hit or miss on Vista. For some they work totally, for some they work partially, for some they don't work at all.
Rom Walton has said not to expect full graphics support for BOINC on Vista until the 6.x.y line.

I installed the package

boinc-dev
boinc-client
with apt.
There was also a package called boinc-app-seti is it possibile that I need this to run the saver?
I don't know if it has been discussed before -- I also had problems with the graphic view and/or the screensaver, showing nothing first and then only 1/3 of an earth (@cpdn) at the very right margin of my 1680x1050 TFT.
These problems with the screensaver/graphics turned out to be related to my dual-monitor config. After disabling the secondary screen (I randomly use it to watch TV or temperature stats or whatever) the problems with OpenGL were gone.

When my computer goes into screensaver, the whole machine locks up. To clear it, I have to do a powerstrip shutdown. I watched and timed this to make sure the prog was involved before I came to the boards. I recently did an upgrade to a new program for E@H. I don't know if the drivers listed among the boards can help this. I tried to download one, didn't work so I abandoned that trek until further knowledge could be gained.
I don't know what information you need to suggest a fix for this problem. Let me know.

Seti screensaver works just fine, but when i press "Show graphics" button on Einstein it's completely black.
Well, not completely black.
I get all the text information like, user information, Percent done % , Clock etc..., but not the stars ??
