Two things to check:-

  1. If you use 'locations' (previously called venues) are you changing the correct pref set?
  2. Check account -> prefs -> project to make sure the setting for "Allow non-preferred apps:" is set to 'No'.

Cheers,
Gary.

Happy new year

Happy new year everyone!

There's definitely a problem with the Windows version of the application. Until this is fixed, I disabled this app version.

It's a bit tricky to track that down, since it appears to be data dependent, thus it slipped through in our initial tests. We're working on it.

Sorry it took us so long to react, holiday season, family duties and various illnesses are still limiting our capacities.

Thanks for sticking with us and contributing to E@H!

Thank you for the update and once you fix it we will crunch it, until then take the time you need to fix it. Some things in life are more important than crunching ie family, friends and holidays, we ALL appreciate what you, and your staff, are doing and have done in the past to make this Project a good place to crunch!! THANK YOU!!

Are there going to be any MD1

Are there going to be any MD1 (CPU) work units generated again? I got a couple but now there are none to be found. I want to process some more to reach a goal that I have.

Thanks

First stop running or asking for them, try running the GRP#1 tasks instead as they work on Windows pc's.

Host 1001562 is now running

Host 1001562 is now running these, and has returned the first task - successful, but not yet validated.

This is one of the machines which started throwing errors when it reached 0414.20: the completed task is from that group, and many previous replications have failed. So the signs are good.
