I'm wondering if any other

I'm wondering if any other Windows 10 users have seen issues with

 1.28 Gamma-ray pulsar binary search #1 on GPUs (FGRPopencl2Pup-nvidia)

crashing the NVidia driver (472.12 in this case) and locking up their machines?

Machine has been running stable for years, but since upgrade to later NV drivers to support OpenCL 2 these crashes have become more or less common. Crash involves black screen on monitor associated with processing GPU (GTX980Ti), frozen screen on screen associated with non-processing GPU and CPU non-responsive.

the new app also pushes the hardware harder. so any small instability in the overclocks (if any) or instability due to thermals could be amplified where you start to see issue that you don't see with the lighter load of the old app.

just another thing to consider.

And as Petri gets more and more involved in tweaking the various apps things could get even more complicated for overclockers, those with questionable cooling etc

Sound like regressing to your version would be a good first step to see if the Windows Nvidia driver(s) have gotten unstable again.

Me too! One of my crunchers

Me too! One of my crunchers ran out about 5am EDT today, the other had only about 180 WUs left (5-6 hrs worth) at that time.
