Any chance getting a Solaris/x86 version of E@H?

Why not run Linux on it? Or even (shudders!) Windoze? Quote from

http://www.sun.com/servers/entry/x2100/ :

The Sun Fire X2100 server gives you a choice of operating systems - Solaris OS, Linux, and Windows.

But it seems (http://www.boincsynergy.com/stats/os.php?project=eah) at least one guy manages to run eah on a FreeBSD machine, so maybe you can figure out some way to run either the windoze or Linux boinc/eah version on Solaris as well.

From previous discussions here I've got the impression that it's unrealistic to expect any version of the eah client specifically compiled for "exotic" systems like Solaris.

And source code will probably not be forthcoming either.

Since it's an X86 box, I

Since it's an X86 box, I don't see why he can't just run in an OS emulator or run WINE.
