Now that I got 5.2.2 running I would like to know if anyone has found the bug in the graphics? That is when I had my last Error in E@H. Do we need a bigger can of Raid?

Einstein's Graphics

The bug is mostly fixed in the E@H beta app 0.18. There is a thread in the cafe about how to download and install that version.

Ricky, The 0.18 beta

Ricky,

The 0.18 beta Einstein app is here, and be very careful to follow the instructions carefully, especially "No New Work" and exhausting all queued Einstein WUs.

Ricky,

You can download it and choose the option "save to disk", then navigate to a holding folder. I created a folder named "My Temp" on my C: drive just for the purpose of saving downloaded program files, so my download manager in Firefox has that set up as default destination. Just remember where you save the file, so you can find it easily when the time comes to install.

Ok, Thanks Michael. I have a Folder in My Doc. that I save my downloaded programs in and then when i'm ready to install them I move them to the desktop. This way I always have a copy to fall back on. Plus the MY Doc folder get backed up to another hard Ext. Harddrive about onces a month.

Ricky,

Good! We'll expect to see a result around Thursday.

OK, Houston, we may have a problem... after 53 mins of work (CPU Time) I got the following:

10/25/2005 8:04:10 AM|Einstein@Home|Starting result l1_0477.0__0477.4_0.1_T04_S4lC_3 using einstein version 18

10/25/2005 8:50:50 AM||Resuming network activity
10/25/2005 8:51:42 AM||Missing account key

Then it came back later and did 2 more CPU mins and left this:

10/25/2005 9:01:36 AM|climateprediction.net|Started download of hadsm3data_4.13_windows_intelx86.zip
10/25/2005 9:04:11 AM|SETI@home|Resuming result 14my04ab.28875.8192.222162.57_0 using setiathome version 418
10/25/2005 9:04:11 AM|Einstein@Home|Pausing result l1_0477.0__0477.4_0.1_T04_S4lC_3 (left in memory)
10/25/2005 9:20:01 AM|climateprediction.net|Finished download of hadsm3data_4.13_windows_intelx86.zip
10/25/2005 9:20:01 AM|climateprediction.net|Throughput 3485 bytes/sec

I'm not sure what is going on so i'll keep watching and see if E@H gets anymore run time.
