I created an account, and it said "your password and instructions have been emailed". I never got the email. I finally found a link to change my password, so I logged in, changed it, and am now able to send this message.

I can't find any instructions on the web site that tell me how to install the program(s) and get them running. Surely, it's here somewhere, but I can't find it.

HELP!

Hi,

You need to download the boinc client https://boinc.berkeley.edu/download_all.php

After the installation it will let you assign to a project.

If you are running Linux, you can use the boinc client that is supplied with many distributions so you don't have to worry about updates.

Your computers are hidden so it's going to be guesswork but after downloading the Boinc client you can at least run cpu wrokunits here, by default your computer will run one for every cpu core you have in the machine. Boinc is also setup by default to pause for 3 minutes every time the mouse is moved, a key is pressed or anything that uses more than 25% of the cpu that way you can still use your pc while it crunches in the background when you aren't using it. If you have a gaming type graphics card you can also setup Boinc to use that but it involves a bit more work, not much though. We would need to know what OS and graphics card you are using to help you with that.
