Hey all,

Been running E@H for a while now on pc and mobile, and so far got little trouble (unless i messed with configs and stuff). However today out of the blue tasks suddenly failed to upload. I dug a bit around in the logging but I can't see anything wrong on my end.
this is what I saw in the logs

I already tried the following steps:
-Restarting boinc
-Restarting pc/router
-Re-installing boinc
-Re-installing network interfaces
-Triplechecked and I had no vpn or proxy stuff installed on my pc

Other projects do manage to finish and upload, So far I only have tasks from the "Gamma-Ray Pulsar Binary Search" stuck, I'm waiting till one of the other tass finish to see if these get stuck too or if the issue is only related to "GRPBS".

Any help or info on this would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

p.s. I saw several topics regarding similar issues, but most are over a month old and didn't really contain a fix, so my apologies if this topic is a duplicate.

I also have upload trouble on

I also have upload trouble on all three of my systems.

So most likely it is nothing specific to your system, MYTHERiOUS.

With luck, they'll fix it at the server end within a few hours, either by an automatic process or by human intervention.

No need for apologies because it's clearly a problem and this is a place for threads about problems.

Particularly with issues like

Particularly with issues like this that have occurred repeatedly in the past, people get a bit careless (myself probably included) with where they post the opening comment about a new occurrence.  Yes, the 'Problems' board is exactly where this should have been first posted.

However, when something inexplicable seems to have very recently happened, you can save yourself a bit of time and effort if you have a look for new activity on all the other boards as well.  It doesn't take long to do so, particularly if (as in this case) the thread starter has used a properly descriptive title.  It's much easier to add a "I see the same" comment than to go into the full details in a completely new thread.  However, thanks for making a useful report - I'm just sorry that you ended up expending unnecessary effort.

Cheers,
Gary.

Uploads have now resumed.

Uploads have now resumed.  You may wish to check if your hosts are in an extended backoff.  If so, just select any stuck upload on the transfers tab of BOINC Manager and hit 'Retry now' to cancel the backoff and start uploads immediately.

Cheers,
Gary.

That's why I added the apology at the end, I couldn't believe I'd be the first to notice this.I'll remember to check the other boards next time. I did indeed only quickly glance into the 'problems' board. Thanks.

That is good news, I'll give it a try when I get home tonight.
