BOINC Manager 7.10.2 does not open !

    I downloaded 7.10.2 on an iMac81 running Mac OS X 10.6.8, I installed, and 7.10.2 refused to open !

    A second attempt failed similarly.

    Next, I re-installed version 7.8.6, and everything works again as usual.

    Is there a problem with the present version of 7.10.2 ?

      Someone else mentioned problems with this version of BOINC in a Wins 7 machine on Seti@home.

        Charlie Fenton (BOINC developer for Mac) was aware of potential difficulties with OS X v10.6.8, but didn't have access to a machine old enough to test with. He's now developed a potential fix, and is asking for testers.

          There is a new version 7.10.3 for Macintosh to address this problem.
