Yes on the 'view your account' page on the right there is link to 'join a team', click on it and type in some words that will rbing up a list with the one you want on it. Click the Team you want to join and then click 'join' on the page that comes up.
I have always had this same issue. There is no team link of any kind on my account page.
Suggestions please.
From the top (black) menu bar: Choose Community -> Teams (middle link). There you may search for teams or create a new one.
For some reason I think there used to be a link "Join a Team" on the Account Profile page. I wonder if it "disappeared" due to a regression/bug. I'll look into it a bit.
