As fast as the discoveries happen these days, I consider myself very fortunate to be able to hear the thoughts on the science, from the scientists and fellow enthusiasts, e.g., on things like: Massive black hole spotted without a galaxy -- maybe warrants a thread of its own?

Chipper – Excellent photo by Hubble, of a normal quasar and the newly found quasar without a host galaxy, along with the interesting accompanying article.

In many ways it’s a shame Hubble is on the short list of projects to go unfunded by NASA; recently I read an article where the scientists and engineers of Hubble are trying to get the most out of the “Old Person (space craft)” before the craft is traditionized.

Also, came across some recent additional articles I wanted to post earlier, but didn’t want to replace BM’s Top Spot in the Science Thread. Hopefully thread viewers will find these of interest.

Cultivating a Planetary Garden: How Long Does it Take?, presented by JPL & NASA

Scientists Reconsider Habitability of Saturn's Moon, presented by Space.com

Chipper, again, Thanks, for the article and your time posting the aforementioned.

Regards,
Tom

Thanks, Tom. Looking forward to seeing images from the 10/26/5 pass, that will show the area where the Huygens probe landed.
