Topic 208697

I know a number users have requested that we change the task table page for hosts and users to include the old "navigation bar" where the number of tasks is listed. Initially we thought we needed to upgrade our Drupal instance. However, upon some discussion and development we came up with another way to provide the same functionality.

The new page is accessible from the TASKS link on the account dashboard or through the Tasks: (#) link on a host's page. The page contains the number of tasks next to their state as well as a drop-down box for the "Application" column which allows you filer by application name.

Would it be possible to display also the version number of the application at the far right column?

Thank you so very much.  This

Thank you so very much.  This revision will allow me to resume using the sum of awarded and pending credit for performance tracking purposes, which will allow me to pick up troubles in my fleet more accurately and more quickly.  I have this morning resumed populating the pending credit column in my tracking spreadsheet.

I do have an additional wish for this page.  I generally want to look at the error or invalid entries that are recent.  Sadly the page is not currently sortable by any of the three sequential columns "Sent", "Time Reported or Deadline", or "Status" (or at least there are not column label links provided as there are for the other columns and I failed to guess the correct form).

If sort capability by at least one of Sent or Time Reported could be provided it would help in health assessment.

Thanks.

I echo the above "Thank You" notes. I have a question, though. What is the "Reset" column for?

It just seems to reset all the sorting criteria on that page. If you had selected gpu applications and invalids for example, then Reset will show all apps and all tasks again.

Thank you for this feature.

Thank you for this feature. The tasks page is missing the CPU time value or is actually showing 0 for all tasks. It is visible on the workunit page though.

Thanks for the bug report. Somehow this slipped through. This bug and the features requested below will be put into a new Issue ticket, and I'll try to get working on it soon. However, there are a few outstanding items that need my attention first.

Thank you very much for the improvements to the displaying of tasks.  It is much appreciated.

There seems to be a problem that is perhaps associated with the recent changes since I haven't noticed it before.  In posting a reply to another volunteer's question, I looked at this page for one of his computers.  The tasks all show as "Completed, waiting for validation" whereas all are clearly past the deadline and have expired.  The true status should be "Timed out - no response".  The true status does show if you click on any of the WU IDs and look at the task in question as part of the complete quorum.

Cheers,
Gary.
