Thank you, Mikey :) I will do that next time they leave him in my care. They've got him back now. I'm glad you're feeling great :)

Is he rather ventripotent? I.e., does he have a lot of stomach to stick? (Yes, I learned a new word today, one which I wish didn't describe me so well.)

I haven't seen my room spider for a couple of days :/ She's large and really quite difficult to miss out in the open :) Probably arou-

*cool stare* Do you ever inhale insects when you yawn, David?

;)

Nice to see everyone, as always. Hope you're all having a good week!

I certainly hope not. Anyway, as Sue will tell you in the bug thread at Seti, spiders are not insects.

And no, my week is not going all that well, although it will improve somewhat if the Cubs win tonight.

"ventripotent"....LOL!!! I'm

"ventripotent"....LOL!!! I'm certainly glad mine is less than half what it used to be!!!

The Cubs DID win last night!!! They won in the 8th inning of the 7th and final game of the World Series!! The Cleveland Indians played well and pushed them all the way until it came down to a one run game, again!!

Somehow I seemed to have watched a different game.  I'm left wondering if everyone saw a different game?

In the game I slept through the end of, they won it in the 10th.

I heard a noise outside and woke up, and my first thought was "they must have won." Then I reached for the wrong remote to turn the TV back on.

 *peer along nose at

*peer along nose at einsteinians* Chris isn't holding enough BT engineers to ransom so got flung back into the dark ages sometime earlier today. It's a risk we take here from time to time *rearrange nose* Whether that will be all that delays him being here though, is far from certain as he keeps losing all his navigability as soon as he logs in apparently.

I've checked the corners to see if things just got a bit complicated for him what with the extra angle on his straight line *slow blink at sudden south London smoke signal* but it seems not.

That was just him. He says "oi"

THIRD EDIT: PLEASE NOTE EVERYTHING GOES WRONG FROM THIS POINT ONWARDS. wELL NOT EVERYTHING good grief. I had no idea I was shouting for quite so long, pwoplw. My apologies... but quite a lot does

Is  there an antonym for that, David? He'd be a very of that if there is. There's room for manoeuvre on his head. Specifically his face. Poor thing's discussing paper bags with me again... but I'm using it.

editing here to point out this quote is looking strange. I just thought you should know I didn't mean it to look like this. I must've done something wrong somewhere.

Oh yes I know. Too many legs. I was building up to arachnids if you'd said yes, David. And possibly a clip of one that fortunately reappeared after going missing (in similar circumstances to mine) to jog your memory. I didn't feel it was necessary to alarm you unnecessarily first though. And anyway she's back today :)

It's there ^^^ somewhere... yes... I've definitely done something wrong because I bet this bit is also going to be there too where here is now

yep. It is... and this

and now...?

*acrid blink* Well that isn't but it's ALL now even worse.

okay I'm going to have one last try...

Please wait here. Further instructions could pile up at any time. Thank you.

So what you're saying is that

So what you're saying is that he's even skinnier than Chris.

I will be falling asleep very shortly.

Chris isn't holding enough BT

Chris isn't holding enough BT engineers to ransom so got flung back into the dark ages sometime earlier today. It's a risk we take here from time to time *rearrange nose* Whether that will be all that delays him being here though, is far from certain as he keeps losing all his navigability as soon as he logs in apparently.

Seems to have sorted itself out, thank goodness.

I've checked the corners to see if things just got a bit complicated for him what with the extra angle on his straight line *slow blink at sudden south London smoke signal* but it seems not.

That was just him. He says "oi"

Oh, I tend to do that rather a lot...

So what you're saying is that he's even skinnier than Chris.

Oi!! (told you!) Ah, now, a Lady never tells, that's for her to know, not us :-))

Looks like I got back not a moment too soon doesn't it??
